Privacy Policy

This notice explains what information RJ Design Hub receives, why we use it and the choices available to you.

Updated 14 September 2026 RJ Design Hub, Taunton

This policy covers the RJ Design Hub website, enquiries, invoices, package checkout and customer billing-account pages. A separate service may provide additional privacy information where relevant.

01

Who controls your information

RJ Design Hub is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us at info@rjdesignhub.co.uk, by telephone on 07522 780029, or at Taunton, Somerset, TA2 6FF.

02

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may receive your name, business name, email address, telephone number, address, requested services, domain information, project messages, invoice details and subscription status. Our systems may also record necessary technical and security information such as timestamps, access events and basic request data.

Stripe processes card and bank-payment details on its own secure pages. RJ Design Hub does not receive or store your full card number or security code.

03

How we use information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, deliver and support services, administer domains and subscriptions, issue invoices, confirm payments, manage cancellations, prevent misuse, maintain records and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

04

Our lawful bases

We process information where it is necessary to take steps at your request or perform a contract, comply with a legal obligation, or pursue legitimate interests such as answering enquiries, securing our systems, maintaining business records and improving service reliability. Where consent is required for a particular use, you may withdraw it at any time.

05

Service providers and sharing

We share information only where needed with providers supporting our work, such as Krystal for website and email hosting, Stripe for payments and billing, domain registrars, email-delivery services and professional advisers. We may also disclose information where the law requires it or to protect legal rights and service security.

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on the provider’s applicable safeguards and data-protection terms.

06

How long information is kept

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose collected. Retention depends on whether an enquiry becomes a customer relationship, the duration of the service, warranty or support needs, payment and accounting requirements, dispute periods, security needs and legal obligations. Information that is no longer required is deleted or anonymised where reasonably possible.

07

How information is protected

We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted website connections, restricted administration areas, access controls, secure payment redirects and service monitoring. No online service can promise absolute security, so please tell us promptly if you believe an account link or personal information has been exposed.

08

Cookies and local preferences

This website uses essential session cookies for security-sensitive forms, customer accounts and administration. Your browser may also store your light or dark theme preference locally. Stripe may use its own necessary technology when you open Checkout or the billing portal; Stripe provides information about that processing on its service.

09

Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to certain processing. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Some requests or information may be limited where an exemption or continuing legal obligation applies.

We may need to confirm your identity before responding to a request.

10

Privacy questions and requests
