Website & Booking Package Terms

Agreement and who these terms cover

These terms apply when RJ Design Hub (“we”, “us” or “our”) supplies a combined website and Scheduli booking-system package to the person or business named in the accepted order (“you” or “your”). They begin when you accept the written order, approve the project to proceed, or pay the first amount due.

The package is intended mainly for businesses and service professionals. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.

Package, preview and approval

Your package includes the website size and Scheduli plan shown in your order, together with the stated hosting, SSL, website care and platform features. Optional services, premium domains, additional SMS credits, third-party fees and work outside the agreed scope are not included unless confirmed in writing.

Where a free website preview is offered, it is for evaluation only. The one-time launch fee becomes due after you approve the preview and ask us to continue towards launch. Reasonable launch dates depend on receiving your content, approvals and access promptly.

Charges and domain renewal

The applicable monthly subscription and one-time launch fee are shown in your written order. The first year of one available standard .co.uk or .uk domain is included with an eligible new package.

After the included year, standard .co.uk and .uk domains renew at £14.99 per year. A standard .com domain renews at £19.99 per year. Premium and specialist domains are priced separately. We may change renewal pricing by giving reasonable notice before renewal.

Payment timing and method will be set out in your invoice or order. Undisputed amounts remain payable while services are active. We will give reasonable notice of material price changes.

Initial minimum term and continuation

The package has an initial minimum term of 12 months from the website launch date, unless your written order states otherwise. You may give notice before the term ends, but the earliest normal termination date is the end of that initial term and charges remain payable until then.

After the initial term, the package continues monthly. It does not begin another 12-month minimum term. You may then cancel by giving 30 days’ notice.

How to cancel

Email info@rjdesignhub.co.uk with your name, business name, domain and a clear request to cancel. We will acknowledge the request in writing and confirm the planned termination date and any outstanding balance.

If you are legally entitled to a cooling-off period, refund or earlier cancellation right, that statutory right takes priority. Charges already earned for work or services you expressly asked us to begin may still apply where the law permits.

Domain ownership, renewal and transfer

An included domain will be registered for you as the customer/registrant wherever the registrar permits. You must provide accurate registration details and keep them current. A domain remains subject to the relevant registry and registrar rules.

You are free to move your domain to another provider. On receiving an authenticated request, we will provide reasonable transfer assistance and will not unreasonably withhold the transfer. RJ Design Hub does not charge a release fee for a standard domain, although the new provider, registry or specialist work may carry its own charge.

Domain transfer does not automatically transfer the website, Scheduli account, email service or other package elements. Start the transfer before cancellation where possible. We are not responsible for expiry or interruption caused by incorrect contact details, an unpaid renewal, a rejected transfer or action outside our reasonable control.

Website content, design and code

You retain ownership of original text, photographs, logos and other material you supply. You confirm that you have permission to use that material. RJ Design Hub retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, reusable code, systems, templates, methods and platform components.

The subscription provides the right to use the completed website while the package is active. A domain transfer alone does not include a copy or licence of the website source code. If you want the website moved, ask us for a written migration or buy-out quotation. Availability and cost depend on third-party licences, technical compatibility, the agreed build and whether the account is up to date.

Scheduli booking service

Your use of Scheduli is also subject to the applicable Scheduli business terms and privacy information. Plan limits, staff allowances, included SMS credits and available features are those published or confirmed for your selected plan. Third-party services such as Stripe and Google Calendar have their own terms and availability.

Scheduli charges no percentage booking commission under the advertised plans, but payment processors may charge their standard transaction fees. Optional SMS top-ups and upgrades are separate unless included in your order.

Your responsibilities

You must provide accurate content and instructions, protect account credentials, use the services lawfully, maintain any licences or consents your business requires, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for your services, availability, customer communications, refunds, taxes and compliance obligations.

You must not use the website or Scheduli for unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing or malicious activity, or attempt to damage, overload or bypass the security of the services.

Availability, maintenance and data

We aim to provide reliable services but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, security work, hosting incidents, third-party failures and events beyond reasonable control may cause temporary interruption. We may make proportionate technical changes to maintain security, compatibility or service quality.

Before termination, request any export that the relevant service supports. Some configuration, logs, derived data, backups and proprietary platform records may not be portable. Data retention and deletion are governed by applicable privacy information, legal requirements and platform policies.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of anticipated profit, or loss caused by customer content, third-party services, misuse, inaccurate instructions or events beyond our reasonable control.

For business customers, our total liability arising from the package will not exceed the fees you paid to us for that package during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where the law does not permit that limit.

Suspension, changes and general terms

We may suspend affected services where payment is materially overdue, security is at risk, use is unlawful or there is a serious breach. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the issue and allow time to fix it before suspension. We may terminate for a serious or repeated breach, insolvency, illegality or material risk to the service.

We may update these terms for legal, security or service reasons. Material changes affecting an active package will be notified reasonably in advance. If any part is unenforceable, the remainder continues. Delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. Neither party may transfer the agreement without consent, except that we may transfer it as part of a genuine business reorganisation or sale without reducing your rights.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern promptly.
